NEW Poster Size for VAM24: 48x48 (There will be two posters displayed on one side of the board like the image below)
Is a poster printing available? Who should I contact to print it?Yes, SVS has partnered with FedEx at McCormick Place for onsite printing services that accommodate the new size. Email questions to
usa5020@fedex.com or call 312.949.2100 to order and/or further assistance.
What tasks do I need to complete in the poster portal and how do I access them?Presenting faculty are asked to upload a PDF of their poster(s), and then record a 3-minute audio summary of the paper. In addition to these two tasks, faculty are required to complete a faculty agreement, and encouraged to review/update their profile, provide a brief biography, and upload a photo. Click
here to access your tasks.
I can't find my login credentials – who do I contact? If system-generated messaging is ever misplaced, send an email to
vameducation@vascularsociety.org.
I am no longer the presenting author. How do I make this change?Contact
vameducation@vascularsociety.org. (The alternate must be an author associated with the paper.)
I logged into the poster portal, but do not see any tasks listed for me.Your role in the system is most likely that of ‘submitting author’; only presenting authors received credentials and were assigned tasks. Contact
vameducation@vascularsociety.org to make a role adjustment.
I will be on-site to present my poster; are there guidelines? If I’ll be at the meeting, why do I need to submit a PDF and record audio for it?Guidelines and additional information for all three poster sessions - Poster Competition, Interactive Poster Session, International Poster Competition - are under the "Guidelines" tab. In addition to a physical poster (if onsite), SVS is seeking electronic versions of posters to showcase in the online gallery (via the planner website and mobile app), made available to all registered attendees.
I won’t be on-site; is a physical poster necessary? If unable to travel to Chicago, a physical poster does not need to be produced. However, uploading of a poster PDF and recording of audio is still encouraged.
What are the format requirements for the electronic poster?Single page PDF / 16:9 aspect ratio / Sans Serif font / Font size no smaller than 6pt
Is there a virtual option for participation in the poster sessions? There is not an opportunity to bring faculty in to present remotely.
As poster faculty, do I earn complimentary registration? Is there still time to register for themeeting? There is no complimentary registration for poster faculty, but there is still time to register; see this
page for related information and fees. To begin the registration process, click
