Summary: Applying New Technologies in vascular care has been a privilege of vascular surgery in tertiary centers. However, while artificial intelligence (AI) being introduced in virtually all areas of life holds great promises, at the same time hesitancy and suspicion of this new technology is present. This educational session aims to introduce the basic principles of AI, discuss caveats and dangers, presents and discuss early applications in vascular surgery.

Objectives:

Introduce the newest technologies emerging in vascular care.

Present early applications and benefits of artificial intelligence.

Enhance adoption and acceptance of new technologies.

Discuss the need for Vascular Surgeons to be on the forefront of vascular care.
