Summary:This session will focus on clinical, administrative, or research missteps that early career surgeons (5 years or less of practice) have made and the journey they went through, lessons learned, and changes they made that allowed them to overcome and cope with the outcome.It will focus on the decision making around the scenario as well as the steps they took to deal with the situation and how they took care of themselves in this ultimately stressful time. The focus will be on lessons learned, advice they could give to others, and who they relied on for help and counsel during the aftermath.
