Summary:To demonstrate how to properly and efficiently perform a lower extremity surgical bypass. BEST-CLI has demonstrated a significant role for infrainguinal bypass in treating chronic limb threatening ischemia. Some surgeons are reluctant to undertake surgical bypass because of limited technical training and/or experience. We hope to organize a session where detailed instruction on techniques is offered. We will ask experts to use focused videos to demonstrate technical proficiency and will include audience participation with focused questions embedded in the presentations.
