Frank Miele, president of Pegasus Lectures, has been immersed in ultrasound technology, system design, and education for over 35 years. Frank has authored multiple texts including the recent release of the 6th edition of Ultrasound Physics & Instrumentation which features new chapters on emerging technologies, including CMUT, ultrafast imaging, elastography, fusion imaging, and artificial intelligence, to name a few. He has produced multiple educational eCourses, authored Exam Simulation programs, as well as created the patented Analysis Algorithm method for evaluating educational performance. Additionally, Frank originated the Ultrasound Student Assessment program, an aptitude test to determine if an applicant possesses the skills specific to ultrasound. He currently serves as an advisor and trainer for Medical Imaging Ministries of America (MIMA), a non-profit organization bringing medical imaging capabilities to underserved countries and communities as recognized by the World Health Organization.
