Dr. Andres Schanzer is a Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center and University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts, with a secondary appointment as Professor of Quantitative Health Sciences. He is the Chief of the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and serves as the director of the UMass Memorial Heart and Vascular Center. He has helped to develop a high performing vascular surgery team of providers at UMass Memorial Healthcare and the division is among the busiest vascular groups in the United States. Dr. Schanzer’s primary focus is the expansion and rigorous evaluation of endovascular therapies for complex aortic disease.
