Glenn Jacobowitz, MD
Dr Jacobowitz is the Frank J Veith, M.D Professor of Vascular and Endovascular at NYU Health. He completed his general surgery training and vascular surgery fellowship at NYU Medical Center and then joined the faculty at NYU, where he has been a faculty member for over 25 years and has served also Chair of the Medical Board.
His research interests include aortic and carotid disease as well as deep and superficial venous disease. He has authored over 140 peer reviewed articles and multiple book chapters. He is the immediate Past President of the American Venous Forum and previously served as Treasurer for the Society and Chair of the Program Committee. In addition, Dr Jacobowitz has been involved with health policy for many years, including membership on the Society for Vascular Surgery Health Policy Committee and then as the initial Chair of the American Venous Forum Health Policy Committee. He has served on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Vascular Surgery and the Editorial Board for the Journal of Vascular Surgery, Venous and Lymphatic Disorders.
