I am an assistant professor of surgery in the division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery with extensive clinical experience in private and academic settings. I enjoy teaching students and perform cutting edge procedures for limb preservation and aortic disease,
As a fifth-year medical student at the University Hospital Essen in Germany, David Weiss conducts research on abdominal aortic aneurysms at the Department of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Yale School of Medicine. He is a mentee of Dr. Edouard Aboian, MD. His research focuses on Artificial Intelligence-based approaches to accurately quantify size and shape changes of medical entities characterized on Magnetic Resonance Tomography and Computed Tomography Angiography. Being a young researcher, David Weiss aspires to a thriving career in the medical field.
