Maen Aboul Hosn, MD

Dr. Maen Aboul Hosn is a Clinical Associate Professor of Surgery in Vascular Surgery, serving as the Associate Program Director for Vascular Surgery Residency and Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He is also the Chief of Surgery, Chief of Vascular Surgery and the Medical Director of the Peripheral Vascular Laboratory at the Iowa City VA Medical Center. Dr. Aboul Hosn was born in Lebanon and received a Bachelor of Science and Medical Doctorate from the American University of Beirut before completing residency in General Surgery at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He then completed his residency in Vascular Surgery at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Aboul Hosn is the Director of the Thoracic Outlet Clinic at the Univeristy of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and has a special interest in aortic and carotid pathology and their treatment modalities.
