Dr. Joglar is Board Certified in both General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. He currently specializes in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery and Vascular Trauma. Dr. Joglar is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. He was the Chairperson of the Puerto Rico American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma for 6 years. He is a past president of the Puerto Rico ACS Chapter. He is a past president of the PR vascular surgery society (Sociedad de Cirugia Vascular y Endovascular de Puerto Rico) as well as a member of multiple academic surgical and vascular societies. He is also involved in medical student education as the Director of the Medical Student Program at the UPR Department of Surgery from 2010 -2023 and now as the interim Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the UPR SOM. Dr. Joglar holds holds privileges at the San Juan Trauma Center, the University District Hospital, the Cardiovascular Center for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, and the San Juan Veteran’s Administration Hospital.
