Dr. Gregg Landis is the System Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Northwell Health, New York State’s largest healthcare provider and private employer. He is also the Vice Chairman of Surgery and holds the rank of Associate Professor of Surgery at the Zucker Northwell School of Medicine.
Dr. Landis graduated from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School, and went on to complete a General Surgery residency program at Montefiore Medical Center/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center.
Prior to working at Northwell, Dr. Landis was the Chief of Endovascular Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan, and the Chief of Vascular Surgery and Associate Chairman of Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center Queens. He was Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical School.
Dr. Landis is a past President of the New York Society for Vascular Surgery. He serves as Associate Editor for the international journal Vascular, and is on the editorial board of the International Journal of Angiology. He has authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed papers in prestigious medical journals.
Dr. Landis specializes in minimally invasive and complex open surgery of the aorta, carotid arteries, and lower extremities.
