Jesus Ulloa is a general surgery resident at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Ulloa earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry B.S at the University of California, Davis. He received his medical training at the University of California Irvine, School of Medicine. He also received his MBA degree from the UC Irvine Paul Merage School of Business. His research interests include perioperative indicators of morbidity and mortality, surgical outcomes, and disparities in access to surgical services. He is completing training in Health Services research as a Veterans Affairs/Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar at UCLA and will be returning to general surgery residency July 2016.
