Resident in Vascular Surgery
University of Florence, Toscana, Italy

Currently a fourth-year resident in vascular surgery at the University of Florence (Italy). Since medical school, I have been focusing on ERAS protcols applied to aortic surgery and perioperative management of vascular patients. In this regard, I have redacted a new perioperative protcol at my institution (Careggi University Hospital; Florence, Italy) for patients undergoing open aortic surgery (A pilot study of the enhanced recovery after surgery protocol in aortic surgery).
