Balazs Lengyel is a 6th-year vascular surgery resident from the Heart and Vascular Center of Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary. He is currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center, Houston, TX. His research topics include studies on the role of Circle of Willis in cerebrovascular circulation, carotid artery disease, and more recently robotic-assisted vascular surgery and the implementation of AI-assisted computer vision in the operating rooms.
