Saranya Sundaram is a third year integrated vascular surgery resident at the Medical University of South Carolina and currently completing a year of research. Her education includes a Bachelors in Biology: Neuroscience at Washington University of St. Louis and a Medical Degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Carrer goals include a faculty position at an academic vascular surgery program while continuing research focused in clinical outcomes and quality improvement. Speciality interests include gender and peripheral artery disease, wound care and critical limb threatening ischemia, carotid artery stenosis and transcarotid artery revascularization, and community disparities/surgical health literacy.
