Jyi Cheng Ng, MD (she/her/hers)

Jyi, originally from Malaysia, has been working as a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic since graduating from medical school in November 2023. During her vascular surgery rotation at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Jyi collaborated on research projects focused on Thoracic Outlet Syndrome under the guidance of her mentor. She has also been honored as a recipient of the VAM24 travel scholarship.

Looking ahead to applying for general surgery residency in Match 2025, Jyi aims to advance her training and clinical skills in a supportive learning environment. She emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based research, and ongoing education as crucial to her professional development and contributions to healthcare progress.
