Dr. Klarin is an assistant professor of surgery at Stanford and the VA Palo Alto Healthcare System. He completed a two-year post-doctoral fellowship in statistical genetics during residency at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, and his current research focuses on leveraging genomic approaches to better understand the etiology of atherosclerosis, vascular disease, and their associated risk factors including lipids and thrombosis.
