Dr. Singh is a board certified vascular and endovascular surgeon with an additional one-year training in open heart surgery. He received the distinguished classification of fellow of American college of surgeons (FACS). He is the Associate chief of vascular surgery and an associate professor of surgery at Northwell/Hofstra School of Medicine at Staten Island University Hospital. He has a passion for education, during general surgery residency he received the prestigious the national Arnold P. Goldman award for teaching and humanism. As the program director of vascular surgery fellowship, he has guided numerous vascular fellows and residents to be proficient surgeons and leaders in their field.
Clinically Dr. Singhs practice focuses on advanced endovascular techniques to treat patients with critical limb ischemia, treatment of carotid and aortic disease and lymphedema. He has developed a unique surgical protocol for surgical management of lymphedema and has presented his work nationally and internationally. He published in many peer review journal and is currently involved in several clinical national trials and has obtained several grants for educational purposes.
