Chong Linus Li is a vascular surgeon, a trilingual speaker (English, Chinese Mandarin/Cantonese, and Japanese), and most importantly a warm and meticulous physician with broad clinical and academic interests. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with BS in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester in 2014, earned his MD from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo in 2018 graduating with the Alpha Omega Alpha honor, and completed the integrated Vascular Surgery Residency at NYU Langone Health in 2023. He joined The Vascular Care Group thereafter.
Throughout his career, he has been closely involved with, and in many cases led vascular surgery committees and societal groups. He has a broad experience in clinical research in vascular surgery with many podium presentations in national and regional meetings, as well as publications in aortic and venous disease. Dr. Li has been the editor of textbooks and a reviewer for vascular surgery journals, and has done many outreach missions and collaboration in Asia, working with physicians there to advance vascular surgery care and technologies.
As a provider, Dr. Li is experienced and comfortable with open, endovascular, hybrid, and medical management for vascular patients, and enjoys working in multi-disciplinary settings. He treats peripheral arterial, aortic, carotid, venous (superficial and deep), dialysis access, and other pathologies that encompass the vascular surgery field. He is passionate about delivering the most patient-centered care, and putting forth the most thorough and sound solution to any vascular disease.
