Tara Srinivas is a rising third-year medical student at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She graduated from Brown University in 2020 with a BSc in Neuroscience and from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Neuroscience. She later completed a Fulbright research fellowship, where she studied the molecular pathophysiology of Rett Syndrome in Spain. Tara is passionate about combining her research experience with her passion for serving her community to reduce disparities in and barriers to healthcare. Her community-based work with under- and uninsured patients has informed her interests in health equity, particularly as it pertains to practice patterns and resource utilization.
